- Wha....wha... what?
- The Stamp Act made the colonists mad, and was one of the first things that made them very mad, which started one of many rebellions that the Americans start.
- Boston massacre
- FIRE
- The declaratory act was the British's way of saying that it does not matter what the Americans say or think, and it put an end to the American protest "no taxation without representation."
- Boston Tea Party
- No more taxes. hehehe
- The townshend act let the British put taxes on things like paper, lead paint, etc. It also allowed the British soldiers to walk right into your house and search through all of your stuff without a warrant.
- Coercive Acts
- The Boston Massacre was an event that mainly surrounds a misunderstanding with the captain and the soldiers. In the end, 5 people end up losing their lives to this tragedy, and captain Preston was blamed for this incident by the other colonists.
- This was the Americans way of rebelling to the British, because they had just dumped a lot of money worth of tea into the ocean, which was the only thing that the British taxed on the Americans.
- These were unfair rules placed on the Americans as a way to keep order in the colonies, and one of these was the quartering act (shown above) where the British soldiers are allowed to live in your house, and you had to provide for them no matter what.
