- The city of Hatusha was a very powerful one after conquering Hatusha. Everyone though it would last forever because it was indestructible. One day. as Hatushili came back from his great feat of defeating the Egyptians, he sparked a bitter family feud. The king had slowly started stripping him of his powers and Hatushilli decided to retaliate.
- Let us flee, this civilisation is done for!
- Just like that the value system that the Hittites had been building for so long, collapsed. The sacred oath had been broken, king was in jail and the people lost their their loyalty, their sense of right and wrong. And the civil war started
- For the next 3 decades the civil war spiraled out of control. No one knwe who t's side they were on.The citizens lost their morals and this led to the downfall of the great Hittite civilisation
- Hundreds upon thousands of people were killed. The remaining few decided to flee the country.
- So a small band of people decided to flee but first they burned down all their important buildings. They first set fire to the library and then one by one on all of the important buildings until the entire city was on fire.
- And so the last of the Hittites left behind their once vast and powerful city. Now nothing more than some barren an desolate smouldering ruins. And then dissapeared.
