- Now that takes me to the next research development we had. It was called the manhattan project. This project consists of the first nuclear weapon we had for WW2. Now that brings us into battle. Our longest battle was the battle of atlantic, it was against germany and involved the navy. Another very important battle we faced was Battle of Stalingrad. This battle Germany and its allies fought the Soviet Union for control of the city of Stalingrad in Southern Russia
- It's a military unit, for flying training. That brings me to the D-day it was important because Allied forces invaded northern France by means of beach landings in Normandy. Speaking of the allied forces Germany had a battle of bulge which was a major German offensive campaign.
- I've heard about 99 th Pursuit Squadron (Tuskegee Airmen). What is that?
- yes of course. Battle of Midway was also a very important battle it was right after the Peral Harbor and we needed to win that battle and we did but we got super lucky. That brings me to our well known atomic bomb on Nagasaki. It was two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Another event was the Interment camps it was a landmark United States Supreme Court case upholding the exclusion of Japanese Americans from the West Coast Military Area during World War II.

- Now on to the Congress of Racial equality. This was an African-American civil rights organization in the United States that played a pivotal role for African Americans in the civil rights movement. We also had what was called a united nations. This was an intergovernmental organization that aims to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations. This was towards the end of the war.
- After the war there was The Nuremberg trials were a series of military tribunals. This was for laws. Lastly there was V-J day which Victory over Japan Day is the day on which Imperial Japan surrendered in World War II, in effect bringing the war to an end. Then V-e day was Victory in Europe Day is the day celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Germany’s unconditional surrender of its armed forces on Tuesday, 8 May 1945, marking the end of World War II in Europe.
