On december 24 1776, George Washington came up with a plan that was genius! because of that Britain was their enemy, they decided to surprise attack Britain.

George Washington led over 2,000 men to fight! he was really smart, no wonder why they picked him as general. Britain already knew about this plan but they doubted him, they thought he couldn't win! so Britain told them not to worry!

The Battle has officially struck. This wasn't any funny game anymore all the Hessians were alerted. many British soldiers dropped out of bed to get the Americans. they went into battle!

After a one-day-long battle, the British learned that they never stood a chance against the americans. this was officially named the battle of trenton
To celebrate their victory, they STOMPED on that flag and put up the American flag! they took Trenton as their own land and forced Britain to give up. this battle helped greatly.
