Athena and Poseidon

We need a god to protect our town.
Who can we choose?
This looks like a nice costal town I can rule.
I think I can rule this town.
Why do we have 2 gods in our town. Poseidon wants us to choose 1 to rule.
All the towns in Ancient Greece was having gods to protect them. Poseidon the gods of the sea like to protect seaside towns.
I think we should both give a gift to the town and the one with the best gift gets to rule.
One day Poseidon and Athena both stumbled across a new seaside town and wanted to rule it.
The people with lived in the town were surprised that there were 2 gods. Poseidon wanted them to pick either Athena or himself.
Thank you for choosing me I will protect this town which I now call Athens.
Athena came up with the idea of giving a gift to the town and then the people of the town would choose who gave the best gift and the winner would rule the town.
