I decided to let the problem go, rather than creating a bigger issue. Carla's apology felt genuine, and that was all I needed to hear. Although she was expecting me to drop our friendship, I did quite the opposite. Carla and I are now closer than ever now that she has found herself. She learned that issues shouldn't always form an argument; however, solving them in a kind and understanding tone would make the situation better.
