THE SILK ROAD
After the Qin Dynasty, the Han Dynasty formed trade routs and officially established trade with the West on what is called the "Silk Road" from approximately 130 B.C to 1453 A.D.
Chinese merchants exported silk, spices, tea and other goods.
The Silk Road was a network of routs (via land and sea) that traders utilized between China and Western Counties.

Western merchants exported wool, grain, gold and silver.
The Silk Road ran from China through Asia, and all the way to Europe.

The traders faced many hazards along the way such as bandits...
...dehydration, starvation and disease...
...so thirsty...!!!
...died from plague...
...ran out of food...
...bad weather and transportation malfunctions.
Even with all of the hardships, trade and exchange of goods, culture and religion along the Silk Road prevailed and changed the world.
