- Both couples want to be moved in to their new homes within 6 weeks

- This is the Grey's first house move and are desperate to get moved in as soon as possible.

- The Blue's have moved home many times before. They are aware of the challenge ahead.

- The Blue's have asked a few removal companies to assess their house, so they can understand: •What contents they have •How many boxes they may need •How long the move may take •How much this will all take
- Week 6 (the Blue's)
- The Grey's have a good idea what contents they to move. They've also decided they would love some fancy wallpaper...nice isn't it? It certainly keeps the boss (Mrs Grey) happy!
- Week 6 (the Grey's)
- Glad they spent time now assessing everything •They had forgotten about all of the old boxes in the attic and cellar •What are they going to do with all of this 'extra' stuff? Meanwhile, they have paid the new house another visit to see if everything will fit in ok (and where)
- The Grey's have decided on a lovely new Kitchen for the new house (based on a floor plan). They have also decided to move during week 4. So it's time to start packing next week!
- Based on feedback from the movers and having a good look at the new house, the Blue's have had to make a big decision: The original timescale of 6 weeks was not realistic. This project is going to take 7 weeks!
- The Grey's are confident that they have everything covered. So order their packing boxes...
- •Packing boxes ordered •Skip delivered to remove the items no longer needed •Removal company booked in for 2 days •In budget •Keeping track of progress
- The Grey's start packing. But.... What about the attic, cellar, garage, shed, under the beds? But the new house has no garage! They don't have enough boxes! They only ordered one removal van!
- The Blue's are all packed up and moving. Yes it's a week later than they would have liked. However, everything is going smoothly and to plan. Thank goodness for good assessment and planning!
- The Grey's haven't been able to start moving yet. They are finding more and more things in the house that they had not considered. They have found out that the removal company has no availability next week. If only they had assessed and planned properly!
- The Blue's are enjoying life in their new house and have decided to get some nice fancy wallpaper and a new kitchen!
- The Grey's have had to go and stay at Mrs Greys parents while everything is resolved.... They have no idea how long it will be before they can move. They have run out of funds. The house purchase fell through.
