- Let me explain... I believe we should declare independence from Britain because of how they treat us. They have passed acts that limit our natural rights such as the Stamp Act, the Intolerable Acts, and the Townshend Acts. In response to these actions I believe we should start a new country with 3 branches because of their flawed government, and I do not want any part of our government to have too much power.
