Ada Lovelace was a mathmatician and writer. She was born on 10 December 1815. she was a fascinatingly imaginative and intellectually unusual woman. At the age of 12 or 13, she made meticulous plans to build herself a large pair of wings and to try to fly.
At seventeen years old, she became good friends with an English mathematician and inventor called Charles Babbage. They met at a party in London on June 5, 1833.

Babbage started to work on the Analytical Engine. Ada became deeply interested and translated from the original French a paper written about the Analytical Engine by an Italian scientist.

Ada went on to get married, Lord Lovelace from whom she derives the name Ada Lovelace. She had three children and she was a relatively good and devoted mother.
