- Ellens parents and some other people came by Uncle Henriks place to attend the "funeral".While they were starting the "funeral" a german soldier came and interrupted them.Annemaries mother told him that it was just a funeral.He slapped her and then left.Peter then took everyone to escape to sweden.
- We shall start the funeral.
- Peter is taking everyone to Uncle Henriks boat so they can go to Sweden,but Ellens dad dropped the piece of napkin Ms.Johanssen gave him to give to Henrik while he was escaping.
- While Annemarie was secretly smuggling the napkin her mother gave her to give to Henrik,she encountered some german soldiers and dogs.The dogs began to growl at the basket.Annemarie tried to make excuses about where she was going but the dogs still took everything out of the basket.THey were disappointed when they only found cheese.
- Why are you running?
- What's in the basket?
- Where are you going at a time like this?
- I AM JUST CARRYING MY UNCLE HIS LUNCH!He is a fisherman and he forgot it this morning.
- Annemarie finally made it to the boat and gave Uncle Henrik the basket.He took it and showed her that the napkin has some kind of scent on it that messes with the dogs nose.He also showed her that Ellen and the others were safe.
- Here you go Uncle Henrik.Mother also packed lunch,but the soliders took it and ate it.
- Thank you Annemarie!I hope they choke on it.
- Annemarie successfully delivered the basket to Uncle Henrik and safely arrived home.
- I'm back mama.
- A few years later,The war was finally over and all of the Germans left.Both of the girls got older and matured more.Denmark was now free!
