- Developing into the ideal person you want to be. Rogers believes there are 3 conditions to facilitating growth; Genuineness, Acceptance, and Empathy. Most people have a natural tendency to become their ideal self.

- Birth Order Effect is your personality is based off your birth order. Only children are described as leaders, demanding, private, dependable, and unforgiving. Birth order is not always accurate though especially when there is a large gap in age and/or there is a special situation such as step siblings.

- As a way to be emotionally well rounded, I have traveled to Antarctica to explore my open and extravert trait
- Your personality can be described in one of four ways. Those four ways are determined by extraversion vs. introversion and emotional stability vs. instability. The way you react to situations and your general personality describes what group describes you best. For me that is introversion stable which would describe me as thoughtful, even-tempered, calm, careful, etc.

- Locus of Control: There re two locuses of control, internal and external. An internal locus of control is feeling that we oversee ourselves and our fate is based of our own self. An external locus of control is when we blame our fate off of others and how they have effected our outcomes.
- Did I fail the last test because I didn't study or because the teacher doesn't teach well
- Everyone has five major personality traits; open, conscientious, extravert, agreeable, and neurotic. These traits are believed to be inherited and play a key role in how we function as a person. We rely on an equal balance of all five personality traits to be considered a "well rounded" individual, at least emotionally.
- The collective unconscious is a common bank of symbols and images shared by all cultures. It is something everyone is born with and isn't necessarily learned. Its the idea that we have a dream that we failed our math test, we see it as a sign that we are afraid of failure.
