Poland is a country in Eastern Europe that is mostly Catholic and white, they are currently facing a rise in nationalism
Thousands of nationalist marched through Poland's capital waving red and white Polish flags with racist signs.

A leader of the march said:
"This war is not somewhere far away. It is in your home even though you may not realise it. It's a war against God, against the homeland and honour, which they want to take away from us."
The rise of nationalism in Poland. The nationalistic Law and Justice party is rising to power in their parliament
A cause of this rise in nationalism is the fear of refugees and racist thoughts that they being terror.

An effect of this is that the country is refusing to take in refugees and The media is filled with right wing propaganda and people think that hate speech is acceptable
