- It's when we go to an overnight camp for a week to learn our halftime show. It's basically summer camp but all things band.

- A WHOLE WEEK?!?! Atleast we can stick together...

- If I eat this band camp cafeteria food for one more day I think i'm going to be sick!

- Fast forward to later in the marching band season

- The girls play their instruments during a football game.

- They all laugh and have fun together.

- Guys! we should go to a restaurant after this.

- Fast forward to later that night.

- The girls wait for their food as they notice there are other marching band members there....

- Hey... can I sit with you guys?

- Significance: This picture book was meant to show the sense of friendship within marching band. When Fatima is introduced to the friend group, the girls and her make memories together throughout the marching band season. Later on, another girl is introduced and the cycle continues. This is to show that everyone is welcome in the community.
