Once we get to Ellis island their will be an inspection for us to be able to enter the country we will then be free.
What does this mean are we going to a new home. what does inspection mean? where are we? why do we have to leave?
Why I have to leave my family behind and most of my belongings does this get any worse why did we have to leave.

If you don't pass you exam you will be mandated in your own country no exceptions. It's not a private inspection you might get exposed if needed.

The tenement housing the old immigrants had to live in that barely had enough space to raise a family.
Me and my family have a hard time being accepted for being immigrants will I be able to even get a job to get by.
Your husband can get a job at the factory they need more employees but it doesn't pay enough for a family to live off of.
