- The supreme court has dealt with many court cases in its history and they can be divided up into different types. Some handle Federalism and others Gerrymandering.

- I'm Baker v Carr, it established "One man, one vote" and opened door to courts reviewing redistricting challenges

- We are Engle v Vitale and Michigan v Yoder, we established that public schools couldn't sponsor religious activities or compel Amish kids to go to school past 8th grade
- We are Tinker v Des Moines and Scheck v US we established that speech that creates a clear and present danger isn't protected and that if speech doesn't disrupt the learning environment that students are free to express themselves.
- I'm the New York Times v US, I decided that the government can't restrict speech even if it damages national security.
