The French Revolution took place between 1789 and 1799. Its main goal was to even the power distribution in France.

Some of the factors that led to the French revolution were the growing resentment in lower classes, new ideas in government, serious economic troubles, weak leadership, and a food shortage.
Storming of the Bastille
The meeting of the estates general took place in 1789 and was a meeting between the three estates. The goal was propose solutions to France's financial problems
The Great Fear
The tennis court oath was when members of the third estate broke into an indoor tennis court, they pledged to stay until a new constitution was made
The storming of the Bastille started when rumors spread that King Louis was sending in foreign troops to massacre French citizens. Members of the third estate then stormed the Bastille, a Paris prison. Attackers killed several commanders and guards stationed at the prison.
The great fear was a wave of senseless panic through France where peasants became outlaws themselves. They broke into nobles homes burning documents and sometimes the houses themselves.
