- As the results of the conflicts between the nations at this time period, North Korea invaded South Korea on June 25, 1950. This sudden invasion aimed to unify Korea under a communist regime.

- At this time period, both China and the Soviet Union, saw North Korea as a strategic ally in expanding Communist influences in Eastern Asia. They started to support North Korea during this particular time period for their interests.
