טקסט Storyboard

  • One night, many years ago, your father and his brother were drunk. As your uncle was walking across the road, a bunch of drunk white men laughed and aimed the car right at him. They ended up crushing him, driving off into the moonlight.
  • The drugs don't just take the dumb or bad ones - everyone eventually gets sucked in. Have you ever heard the story of your uncle?
  • What?!?! I didn't even know I had an uncle! What happened to him! What's going on?
  • Because, the society we live in is built in favor of the white people, and racism and discrimination against us is the centerpiece
  • Do you ever wonder why a certain darkness wraps around our neighborhood, engulfing and taking the lives of more and more black people?
  • Well that too, but I meant to say the vast racism that's keeping black neighborhoods from progressing. These issues facing our neighborhoods create a circle of sadness for our families and I don't want it to happen again.
  • Don't tell me it's the easily accessible and prevalent drugs...
  • Oh my god, why would someone ever do such a thing!!
  • I'm not telling this to make you afraid, it's sadly the truth. I want you to make sure even after I'm gone that you'll protect Sonny from any harm that comes his way.
  • I just don't want your kids to lose out on an uncle as you have. It's time this circle of danger ends.
  • Alright, I still find it hard to accept that these issues are so close to home that they could affect sonny, but I'll try my best to look out for him
