- Nicholas II arrives at Russia from Japan, and made Russia’s government increase in corruption, leading to the Russian Revolution to start

- The cause of the Russian Revolution was because of Nicholas doing too much wrong choices leading to many peasants complaining.

- After Lenin went back to Russia he made the Bolshevik, they believed in “peace, land, and bread.” They claimed to get out of World War One. The Bolshevik’s easily took down the winter palace. The Bolsheviks soon turned into the main power of this revolution.

- Leon Trotsky then leaded the “Red Army”, he leaded this group to fight against the government because the Bolsheviks wanted to forbidden the government.

- Josef Stalin was a politician and led the Soviet Union from 1929 to 1953. In 1901 he attended the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labour Party. He helped Russia to defeat Germany during World War One. He raised money by robbing and he lead many riots. This made Stalin one of the top leaders under Lenin quickly.
