- The goblins live together in their tree house, one is light green, one is green, and one is Forest green
- 4: Competition & Natural Selection
- Genetic variation gives all the Goblins notably different characteristics. The main one is their skin color, some are very dark, some are light green and others are grass green. Genetic variation is the genes creating different individuals in the same population.
- 5: Adaptation
- In the night, many new baby goblins are born in various amounts of colors. However it's alarming how many new goblins are born aka, overpopulation. Shelter, safety and especially food will become scarce.
- Evolution Has Occured
- The lighter goblins are easier for its Predator, the knight hunts. The goblins with the lighter skin. the darker ones can hide easier and the forest green goblins can almost camouflage in the forest. It's a natural selection where the best suited for the wooded environment will survive and reproduce comfortably.
- Dark-skinned goblins were more likely to survive and create more offspring than any other. After various years of natural selection, this left most of the population of the new generation to be forest green goblins. The offspring now carry the heritable trait of dark skin, making it easier to adapt and survive in their environment.
- Evolution can happen quickly or slowly in an environment depending on the size of change and genetics in the population. The genetic differences can include red eyes or brown eyes dark green skin or light. In this environment specifically, the dominant genetic trait is dark skin. The environment of the forest gives a sort of layout to whom can adapt , survive and create offspring.
