- Hey, my name is Pythagoras, I am credited by many with having discovered the Pythagorean Theorem! Let me walk you through how I first discovered it according to tradition!Although I did not discover the Theorem from scratch (ancient Babylonians, Chinese and Indians also had similar geometric principles), many credit us with being the first to PROVE the theorem in a logical, deductive way using geometry.

- I stayed in Egypt for at least 10 years, learning a lot of mathematical knowledge there, but the Persian King Cambyses the Second took me to Babylon though I later returned to the Mediterranean region and the cities of Italy.

- In a palace hall, I studied the stone square tiles when bored and pictured right triangles within the tiling.And it was then that I saw that the area of the squares on the side lengths were equal to the square on the hypotenuse. As such, I believed that the area of the squares on the side lengths were equal to square on the hypotenuse. Using the deductive method, I arrived at the proof of my theorem via deductive method. Eureka!!
