No Escape

Johnny had a hard time walking, so he needed to get Mr. Riley’s canes nearby to use as crutches. Johnny used two of Mr. Riley’s canes to secretly walk his way to his room to find his secret stash of medicine, rest for a while, and get back to work.
While waiting, Johnny was in deep thought about his actions and if they were really worth actually getting hurt. He was thinking about what he would be willing to do in order to achieve his goals, and if he had gone too far. Once Johnny healed, he had come to a realization. Something he figured out too late, considering how big of an impact his actions had. Ever since this incident, Johnny has stopped lying to get his way through life. However, because of how many times Johnny lied, Mr. Riley never believed anything Johnny said, even if Johnny told the truth. Johnny could never achieve his dreams, and had to stay a slave because of his own lies and deception, and was destined to be a slave forever. Instead of escaping his horrid life, he had only made it worse.
