- So how does that relate to my plant and what foods could it be used to create from that process!
- Well when plants go through photosynthesis to create sugar things like yeast or bacteria can help break them down using fermentation to create foods. An example could be a grape which uses photosynthesis that is broken down into a smaller substance such as wine!

- So plants go through a process called photosynthesis where it takes in and uses light energy to convert into glucose and oxygen to be released.
- Yes! So Wall-e your pea plant is saving lives because it can produce oxygen and be the reason people can return to Earth!
- Cellular cells break down glucose is when cells break down glucose and release energy like ATP. This happens in the mitochondria
- Fermentation is when larger substances are partially broken down to create energy!
