- Presenting:The OdysseyBooks: 21-23
- Tomorrow I will hold a contest to choose a suitor.
- Is that so?
- Odysseus lied awake all night plotting on how he would take his revenge on the suitors the next morning.
- What if I were to do this.....
- Penelope grabs her husband's arrow and starts weeping a little bit.
- The next day.....
- The suitor able to string Odysseus' bow and shoot his arrow through the 12 axe handles will win my hand in marriage.
- Mutter....mutter.... mutter....
- Telemachus was the first to try.He comes close 3 times, but fails.
- Grr...Grr...Grrr
- Just stop, my son.
- Meanwhile, all the other suitors failed miserably.
- Grr...Grr...Grr....
- Mutter....mutter.... mutter....
- How about we postpone the contest for a little while.
- WIMP!
- It is I, Odysseus.(explains his plan)
- Odysseus asks to have a turn and wins the contest with ease.
- ***Gasps***
- Odysseus turns towards the suitors and reveals his true identity.
- It is I, Odysseus!
- Odysseus shot Antinous right in the throat with an arrow! All the other suitors and treacherous maidservants begged for mercy, but he was dead set on his decision.
- Odysseus and Telemachus slaughter all of the treacherous maidservants and suitors.
- Penelope can't believe that her long lost husband has returned.
- Is that really my husband?
- Odysseus tries to reassure his wife by saying he's her husband.
- Yes, it is your husband, Odysseus!
- Penelope asks if the maidservant could move their bed to a different room as a test for Odysseus.
- Have my bed moved to another room.
- Odysseus reminds Penelope that the bed cannot be moved out of the room.
- I made that bed-it cannot be moved!
- Odysseus passed Penelope's test.
- **Kissing***
- It really is you, my husband!
- Odysseus must now leave to appease to Poseidon .
