  • This is a image of the 7 mountains looking over the Tiber river. This citys capital was founded in 700 B.C.E. The tribe built huts on the hill which soon led to become a village, and since then it has expanded` and created what we know now as Italy
  • Etruscan Influence of Sports on the Romans
  • Romulus and Remus were twin boys who were attempted assignations by their uncle but a wolf saved them. Everyone liked them and praised them so then they became kings and made their own city. But they argued over what it was called so they got into a big fight and Romulus ended up killing Remus so he named it Rome.
  • Greek Influence of Architecture on the Roman Civilization 
  • The Greeks and Etruscan's copied eachother all the time. As you see in the picture above they copied their archs. The cuniculus was like a plumbing device for the Romans. They also built aqueducts to bring water,

  • They enjoyed sports a lot. The Greeks actually took some of the sports from the Etruscan. They took away their physical fighting and battling events. They also had chariot races and very bloody battles in the arena above,
  • The Greek architecture was very important to the Romans. They built marble temples that were very big. They also used concrete to make even bigger architecture buildings. This is where they would watch there events.
  • Like the Greeks Romans wrote in all capitals. They carved into gold stones and stone plaques. They even carved into walls and columns. They also used and took arts and made monuments in Greek styles. They influenced them by having similar arts and sculptures which impact their culture.
