The narrator lives with the old man, and he loves the old man, he does not hate him, but one feature. He fears the old man's blue vulture eye. He starts to develop a plan to take the old man out because of his one eye.

He started to treat the old man kindly for seven days, but every time at 12:00, he goes to the old man's room. He goes up there carefully not to wake up the old man. He then watches him and shines the light to see the old man, but the old man does not see the light or see the narrator. But today was different, today was the 8th day, and he was going to kill the old man.

When the old man cried for help, a neighbor heard him and called the police. The narrator talks to himself, saying they know! They are making a fool out of me. The police heard a neighbor who called, saying he heard a cry. The narrator told them to come inside and check. He took them to the old man's room and the whole house. The police believed him, but he felt guilty, and he told them the body is under the floor. But why is his heart still beating!
