- In fact, there has been many trees and forest disappearing around the globe . This is because of Deforestation. Deforestation is the action of clearing a wide area of trees.
- Oh my! But why does deforestation take place and how does it impact us.
- Here, let me show you why.
- Even though some forests still remain, it's not that big of a deal isn't it ?
- People cut down trees and destroy forests for their own needs.
- Even though some forests remain, it still has a major effects on us, the environment and our planet.
- As we humans rely on agricultural commodities such as crops, vegetables and industrial produced meat and dairy, we are losing forests and increasing the rate of climate change.
- Agriculture is known to be the leading cause of deforestation.

- Deforestation has also lead to loss of wildlife habitats for many species of animals such as this rabbit.
- The clearing the forests have also led to almost 27 species going completely extinct.
