Demeter and Persephone

Persephone was picking flowers for her mother Demeter.
Hades, the mighty ruler of the underworld wanted a Queen to rule by his side. Since he was really lonley.
He got Zues's permission and then captured Persephone and took her down into the underworld.
Persephone was sad and would not eat anything. Her mother, Demeter was looking for her everywhere and soon found out where she was.
She went to Zues and threatened him, and he sent Hermes to get Persephone. When Hermes arrived in the underworld Persephone had already eaten seeds from a pomegranate , which means she had commited to the underworld. She now liked the underworld now.
Hermes made a deal with Hades that Persephone would spend 6 months in the over world with her mother and would spend 6 months in the underworld to rule with him willingly.
