Who are disenfranchised with Digital Access· Schools and students who reside in rural areas have limited access to quality high-speed internet connections.· School districts are faced with funding issues and cannot provide computes for students· Students/families lack computers and internet in the home and are not financially able to afford them

- How to Improve Digital Access· Teachers/Schools evaluate and take a poll of how many students they have who do not have access to technology at home (don’t assume) so that school technology accommodations can be made· When limited computers are available incorporate learning stations in the classroom· Allow students to bring and use personal computers in class· Establish a computer lab for use afterschool· Seek grants or fundraisers for purchasing computers
