- Hi everyone! I'm Heather: on most days you can find me nursing as the Clinical Manager for a developmental services organization where I spend my time supporting individuals with complex medical needs. On other days, I'm teaching post-secondary DSW students at Fanshawe College, which has become a true joy and led me to the M.Ed program.

- In the last 6 months, I learned that I can not only manage my time across both my busy careers, home life and being a student again, but that I even ENJOY it all at once - that the juggle and balancing of all these things is what brings me a lot of fulfilment. When starting the M.Ed program last semester, I wasn't sure how the pace would go (hello imposter syndrome a bit too), and it was a beautiful realization to be surrounded by a supportive group of peers and find fun in this new journey.

- In the next 6 months, I'm looking forward to warmer weather, sunny days, spend time with my little ones, and hopefully sneak in some time to read (my favourite thing to do in any spare time).
