- Long ago there lived a small family on the outskirts of England. In this house, there lived a man, who was a widower, his new spouse, who was old and mean and his two children Handel and Gretel.

- Fredrick! I am sick and tired of these freeloading children living in MY house. GET THEM OUT OF HERE!
- But Darla! They're my children, I can't throw them out!
- MAKE A PLAN! I WANT THEM OUT BY TOMORROW, OTHERWISE IM LEAVING!
- In the kitchen was a woman and her spouse were talking.

- * between sniffles * THEY'RE GOING TO GET RID OF US! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!
- THIS IS A DISASTER!
- I have to do something!
- Unbeknownst to them, the children could hear them in the other. As Gretel sat on the bed crying, Hansel decided he would format a plan.

- * thinking *I could probably use some bread to help us get back home

- Preparing for their trip to run away, Hansel packed food into his bag and some bread into his pockets to use as a path.

- As they ran through the forest, they stumbled upon a clearing filled with candy, and a witch beckoned Hansel and Gretel closer!
