- The monkeys took Mowgli up to King Louie's temple so Louie could try and convince Mowgli to bring him the red flower so he could have all the power. After Mowgli said no King Louie told Mowgli that Shere Khan killed Akela, which caused Mowgli to go after Shere Khan. This is rising action because it is the most important piece of action before the climax.
- Climax
- Mowgli the man cub is running trying to keep up with the wolves while Bagheera chases them, so Mowgli can practice staying with the pack while running. This is the exposition because it is the way things were before the action started. Mowgli was able to run with the wolf pack without putting them in danger.#160;#160;
- Falling Action
- #160;Shere Khan comes to the water truce and says when the water rises and the truce is over he will come hunt Mowgli. He is going to hunt Mowgli because man is forbidden in the jungle and Mowgli will soon be a man. This is the trigger point because after this threat Mowgli leaves the pack and all the action starts.
- Resolution
- #160;Mowgli leads Shere Khan out to a dead tree branch and when it snaps Mowgli swings away on a rope while Shere Khan falls to his death in flames. This is the climax because it is the turning point in the story. Shere Khan is dead so Mowgli can stay in the jungle without anyone#160;trying to kill him.
- #160;The elephants move the logs so the water can put out all the fire. This is the falling action because it is the main action part after the climax.
- #160;Mowgli, Bagheera and Baloo are all relaxing on a tree branch together after Mowgli had gone back to the wolf pack. This is the resolution because everything is back to normal and all the parts of the story are over.
