Character Vs. Self: Evan is fighting back and forth against himself whether he should keep lying to the Murphy’s or if he should tell the truth because he knows it’s wrong, but he can’t seem to stop.
I know this is all on me, but I also know, from the looks on their faces, that they want me to keep going. (117)

Character Vs. Character: Connor pushes Evan down because he is mad at him.

In "Dear Evan Hansen" by Val Emmich, Steven Levenson, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul, Evan kinda ignores both of these types of conflict. He ignores the Character Vs. Self because he doesn't do anything to stop himself from lying more to the Murphy's. Evan also ignores the Character Vs. Character conflict when Connor pushes him over because he doesn't fight back or anything. This shows that Evan is a stubborn person because he just ignores stuff and doesn't think of the consequences. These conflicts also show that we need to be honest, stand up to ourselves, and think of the consequences of what might happen.
