  • At Brutus's camp Lucilius, Brutus's servant tells him that Cassius is arriving shortly#160;

  • Cassius arrives with his army and begins to insult Brutus in front of everyone. Brutus tells him to take it inside to the tent as not to demoralize the army.

  • Brutus and Cassius argue about many points. Cassius thinks that Brutus insulted him by condemning Lucius for taking bribes, Brutus requests that Cassius brings him gold but Cassius denied him, and about battle plans. They eventually make up and decide to attack Octavius and Antony at Philippi.

  • While Brutus sleeps he sees the ghost of Caesar. The ghost tells him that he will see Brutus at Philippi
