Jacksonian Democracy helped expand voting rights to all white men, not just landowners. Before Jackson's presidency, only property-owning men were allowed to vote in many states. Under Jackson, more states eliminated property requirements, allowing all white men to vote. This greatly increased the number of eligible voters.
