- After winning the battle against the Turks, everyone celebrated together at night. Iago saw a great opportunity for revenge. He convinced Roderigo that she was having an affair with Cassio and that he should fight him to win her love. Then the Duke and Othello saw Cassio in that terrible state and after that they demoted him.

- After that, Iago convinces Cassio to talk to the general's wife and back his rank. At that moment, Iago tells Othello that his wife was cheating on him with Cassio. Later, Othello arrives home, he saw him, he becomes unhappy and jealous toward his wife because of his supposed suspicions.
- Tomorrow evening?
- When, then? Tuesday? Wednesday? When can he come?
- He can come when he likes.
- Now, leave me. I have other things to think about.
- Later that day, Iago was alone with Othello, he hinted that his wife and Cassio were in love. Othello didn't want to believe him, but he was already becoming more suspicious.

- At dinner with the guests, Othello was sad and had a headache. His wife gave him her handkerchief, but he threw it on the floor. And he went to dinner.Emilia is Desdemona's maid. She is Iago's wife. She is a good woman, but Iago was cruel to her. Emilia keeps the handkerchief. The handkerchief was an important part of Iago's plan.
