- a wide shot of Elphaba and Galinda meeting. it should have high-key natural lighting, and cut to Elphaba and Galindas faces separately before they start talking. the people in the background shouldn't be wearing bright colours or have any eye-catching hairstyles/clothing to show that we are supposed to focus on Elphaba and Galinda.

- Wide shot, the camera pans over to Nessa and her father coming into the scene.the lighting should still be the same. when 'father' pulls Elphaba to the side the lighting should change to harsh and cool toned.when 'father gives Nessa a parting gift the camera should pan slowly to elphaba, showing her having her guard down and frowning, with a glint in her eyes, looking at the gift, and then putting her guard back up .

- mid shot, cool toned lighting to show the the moment is tense. when 'father' walks away it should go to a close up of the two girls talking.as they talk elphabas eyes should follow 'father'and when she says 'well, what could he get me?' she should turn to look at nessa smile awkwardly, tilt her head and smirk
