Hi i'm Mr.Cucumber, today we will be learning about the digestive system!
First the mouth grinds down the food adding saliva to it
The oesophagus is the tube that leads into the stomach
Next i travel down the oesophagus at the speed of lightning!
The stomach has acid and enzymes in it that digest the food
Once I get into the stomach I have a very hot bath!
Next the food goes into the small intestine where it's mixed with digestive juices and some of the water is absorbed
Then i go in to a long windy tube where i get hit around.
After that the food goes into the large intestine where more water is absorbed and turns the food from a liquid into a solid
After that I go through another long windy tube! This bit's quite boring.
Finally the feces gets released through the anus
