Frank and Amy both have ASD. However, both have different needs and interact differently with their environments.
Hi, My name is Amy, and I am not like the rest of my peers I have ASD, which means Autism Spectrum Disorder, but I am pretty good at masking it.

Frank has an IEP, while Amy does not. Just because a student might be diagnosed with ASD, it does not automatically qualify them for SPED and may simply need minor adjustments.
