- A very long time ago, the large island of Mindanao was completely covered with water, and the sea extended over all the lowlands so that nothing could be seen but mountains. There were many people living in the country, and all the highlands were dotted with villages and settlements. For many years the people prospered, living in peace and contentment.
- Suddenly, four monsters Kurita, Tarabusaw, Pah and a Dreadful bird came to destroy the island and devours every single human they see.
- A king in the distant city,Indarapatra begged his brother to save the people in Mindanao. Out of Pity, Saluyman agreed to the request.
- He went to Mindanao to kill all the monster but when he faced Pah, the bird used his wings to defeat Saluyman to death

- Indarapata continued to journey of his brother and killed Pah. Mindanaowas saved and they lived happily ever after.
