- I am also known as "The Father of Genetics," because I was the one who experimented and found out about different genes.
- I am Gregor Mendel. I was a monk, teacher, gardener, and I made observations in plants. I was born in 1822 in Austria.

- The first generation was a short and tall plant, but the tall plant had the dominant gene, so the second generation plants are both tall. Then, the two tall plants still had recessive genes from the short plant, so the third generation has a short plant.
- The tall plants are dominant (T), and the short plant has the recessive gene (t). The dominant gene from the tall plant gave the offspring dominant genes so they are both tall, but they still have some of the gene from the short plant so they are Heterozygous. Their genes gave the offspring a recessive and dominant gene, so there is a short and tall plant.
