This is a form of non-probability sampling. since you're asking me to recruit my acquaintances for your study, ultimately undermining the process of randomly selecting participants. Perhaps, my friends are not representative of the population of interest. Have you learned about probability sampling?

- Probability sampling is when each participant has an equal chance of being selected for your sample. The easiest way to do this is through simple random sampling. I can give you a list of all 20 of my friends, and you can choose five of the participants for your sample. To eliminate bias, I recommend assigning each name a number and using a random number generator to pick which friends will represent your sample. Best of luck with your recruitment process!
