  • Washing hands, and making sure utensils are clean is a crucial when following OSHA food safety standards.
  • Always make sure your food is stored in the appropriate temperature.
  • With food safety. It is imporant to keep cooked and raw foods seperate. Not doing so can cause cross contamination.
  • In a kitchen environment it is important to be wary of oil or water on the ground as it can cause a sliping hazard. Wearing non slip shoes is importnat! As well as having wet floor signs or something that can indicate a mess.
  • Minor cuts and burns happen often in kitchens, it is important to know where to locate a first aid kit immediately in case of injury,
  • In case of a fire you need to a few things. Firstly where a fire estinguisher is in order to try and put out the fire.If the fire is to widespread you need to know the nearest exit to escape. Lastly you should know where you and the other employees will meet after you all have escaped,
