- Fine. We, the Soviet Union will be helping the MPLA communist group in this fight.
- Okay. We will be aiding any anti-communist group in this Angola crisis. Along with training for both FNLA and UNITA that comes our way.
- Soviet Union had decided to step in and help the communist-led groups to fight for power over Angola, while the U.S slipped their way in and helped by aiding supply and training for the fight occurring.

- Everything has had an impact from this crisis. Even government buildings have been degraded.
- Our faith in Detente with the Soviet Union has gone away with all this commotion...
