In this scene Lady Rawles is reading a letter wrote from her husband, Macbeth, telling her the three witches granted him a prophecies that he is the king, however Lady Rawles thinks Macbeth lack the mortals to kill Duncan. after she received the message that King Duncan was going to visit she called upon the forces of evil to "unsex her" and do what must be done for her husband to become king.

In this scene Duncan and his party arrives, Duncan is generous and praising Macbeth and Lady Rawles for hosting

In this scene, Lady Rawles learned that Macbeth does not want to go through with Duncan's murder because that is his cousin, Lady Rawles shows her true evil heart during this argument.
