- Law of Inertia (1st Law)Am object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an external force.(The ball starts moving when John kicks it)

- Law of Mass and Acceleration (2nd Law)The acceleration of an object is inversely proportional to the mass of the object, directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force(John kicked the ball to the right and in the upward direction, so the ball also didn't move in the intended direction) .
