There was a kid named Donovan. He hit a statue with a branch. The statues head fell off and rolled down a hill and smashed his schools gym floor. He was sent to the principal. Since the principal was busy he wrote his name down and would call him later for punishment. The principal accidentally wrote his name on the gifted kids list. There he was sent to the academy. At first he didn't belong. But the kids needed and liked him so much. His favorite class was robotics and they won the robotics meet. With Donovan the kids were able to learn how to socialize!

- There was a boy who went to a normal school. His name is Donovan Curtis he is the main character in the book Ungifted by Gordan Korman.
- Hi I am Donovan!
- One day he hit a statue and it fell all the way down and smashed part of the gym.
- Donovan got in big trouble and had to go to the principal. The principal needed to deal with other things so he wrote his name down. But he accidentally wrote his name down on the gifted kids list!
- Since the principal wrote Donovans name on the gifted list he was sent to the academy. It was huge! It was clean and spacious. Plus not many kids went there so that made it extra large! On his first day Donovan met so many curious kids asking him about his old school. He quickly became friends with them. They also convinced him to join robotics class.

- Hi I'm Chloe!
- Welcome to the Academy! I'm Mr. Oz.
- Hi I'm Noah!
- Donovan attended robotics class for several weeks. He became a big part of the team as a driver. The driver was important because the robotics meet was coming up!

- Welcome to robotics class! Here we make a robot that can complete multiple asks in an arena. His name is tin man!
- Weeks passed and the robotics team worked on their master piece. When it was done it could pick up things and place them. This would be useful for the tasks ahead. The robot would have to pick up rings and drive along a road of colored squares. Finally the day came and the team was terrified. The robot completed all the tasks...but the team the were versing was not being nice. They pushed their robot so it fell! Donovan and his team decided to fight back! They smashed the there robot into the judges table and was disqualified from the meet. Although it wasn't good the team had fun and made sure no one got in their way. Even if it meant being disqualified.
