The Spanish Inquisition was a judicial institution where they used brutal methods to make sure that Catholic Orthodox was kept.
"The Spanish Inquisition was nothing more than an outbreak of questions such as "How far is it from here to Madrid?" "What do you call the matador's hat?"
He was trying to say imply that it was just a bunch of dumb questions, when in actuality it was actually investigation questions so inquisitors could admit to their heresy.
"The War of the Roses took place in the garden." He said that because of the fact a rose is a flower, and you know, roses are normally in gardens. However, the War of the Roses actually took place in England, and there wasn't actually roses, but instead wars.
The War of Roses were a series of multiple civil wars that were fought between two families for the English Throne.
