- This is Stella Grant. A girl who suffers from a medical condition called cystic fibrosis is currently hospitalized for treatment of her condition. Among other things, she also shares her life on social media.

- Barb (one of the nurses taking care of Stella) knocks on Stella's door to tell her that there is a new baby in the NICU, the place where Stella likes to stare at the most. Stella rushes to the NICU, but stops when she sees a handsome boy her age in the doorway of a room a few doors down. A few minutes later, they run into each other and start talking while making sure to keep a distance of 6 steps, so not to endanger either of them.

- He's totally too rebellious to be my type. Although he looks good and I have empathy for him, I prefer to stay away.

- After they meet for the first time, the two continue to run into each other by chance, either through eye contact or through the screen. Stella wonders if Will is doing his treatments, and the thought that he might not be angers her. As she realizes she does not want Will to die, she starts making sure he does his treatments..
